An American-style sweet & savory pie shop, tucked away in a lane of the ramparts. Homemade pies, retro decor, a welcome that feels like home.

A suspended moment
Push open the door at 7 rue des Petits Degrés and you step into a truly unusual piece of Saint-Malo history: a journey through time and space in the heart of the Corsair City.
First a salad bar, then a Cajun restaurant shaped by Bob and Babeth's travels, L'Art Caddy became an American-style pie shop. Everything is homemade, generous and indulgent — from comforting savory pies to deliciously nostalgic desserts, with a retro soundtrack (blues, rockabilly, country).
“Here, we welcome you like family. The more you have, the more you want!” — Babeth
The must-tries

The daily special Bob used to make back in the Cajun days, reimagined as a pie: honey-caramelized pork with BBQ sauce, potatoes and cheddar.

Peanut butter toffee, chocolate chips, whipped cream. Born from a childhood treat that Babeth had the idea to turn into a pie.

It all began in 1988: Bob and Babeth, regulars at a small salad bar, fell in love with the place and took it over. A trip to Bob's aunt in the United States changed everything.
